Inside the hat, USA is spelled using traditional maritime signal flags, while the interior seam tape features the iconic phrase "We The People" — a tribute to the founding words of the United States as we celebrate 250 years of American independence.

The hat is finished with a red, white, and blue Buoy 71 PVC shield patch on the front and a red Buoy 71 patch on the back — a nod to the boating rule every captain knows:
